MBF = minimum breaking force at the stated wire tensile grade (N/mm²). Weights are nominal. Diameters outside 14–54 mm and non-standard grades are manufactured to order — request a quote.
About this construction
What does the plastic-injected core add?
Service life, not strength. Breaking force is identical to the standard European version at every diameter. What changes is how long the rope lasts before internal wear retires it.
Why does it matter more on a 35-strand rope?
Thirty-five strands in opposing layers means a lot of internal contact. Every load cycle has those layers moving against each other and against the core, which is exactly the wear the polymer is there to prevent.
When is it worth the extra cost?
On multi-layer drums, high cycle counts, and anywhere ropes come off showing broken wires in the strand valleys rather than on the crowns. That pattern means the rope failed from the inside.
Does it change how I inspect the rope?
Somewhat. The polymer holds the structure together, so internal deterioration shows less on the outside. Keep to your normal discard criteria and watch diameter reduction closely over the rope's life.
Selecting European-standard 35-strand rope
Maximum rope, protected inside
Thirty-five compacted strands to European breaking-force values, with polymer injected between the strands and the core. Rotation-resistant ropes work their interior hard because so many layers move against each other under load. The injected core separates those surfaces and keeps the grease where it does something.
Manufacturing
Drawn, stranded and closed in-house
Every rope starts as Baosteel or Shagang wire rod and runs through our own servo-driven drawing and planetary stranding machines. German Fosser lubricant is applied at closing, and each rope is tensile tested against its declared breaking force before it ships.
Ordering
Cut, reeled and shipped to spec
Reels run to 3,000 m, with custom lengths cut to order. Every shipment carries a mill certificate and test report, packed for sea freight and shipped CIF from the Yangtze Delta.
MOQ 1,000 m, negotiable.
