Everything on this page comes from a certificate on file. Numbers, issuing bodies and expiry dates are all listed so you can check them yourself rather than take our word for it.

Tongjiang holds four management-system certifications from CICC, a works approval from China Classification Society for rope used aboard ships, and a technical-file verification from an Italian body against the EU Machinery Directive.

Quality, environmental and safety management

Three linked certifications, all issued by CICC (Conformity Inspection & Certification Co., Ltd.), all scoped to steel wire rope production.

Quality (GB/T 19001-2016 / ISO 9001:2015, No. 18122Q11736R1M) was first issued on 17 January 2022, renewed 13 January 2025, and runs to 16 January 2028.

Environmental (GB/T 24001-2016 / ISO 14001:2015, No. 18122E20706R1S) and Occupational Health & Safety (GB/T 45001-2020 / ISO 45001:2018, No. 18122S10569R1S) were both first issued on 30 September 2022, renewed 29 September 2025, and run to 29 September 2028.

Energy management

Certified to GB/T 23331-2020 / ISO 50001:2018 and RB/T 119-2015, certificate no. 21125En10013R0S, issued 10 October 2025 and valid to 9 October 2028.

The certificate carries measured data, not targets. Comprehensive energy consumption per ton of product was 56.11 kgce across 2024 and 55.94 kgce for the January to August 2025 audit period. Both figures were verified by a third-party audit.

Marine approval

CCS Jiangsu Branch issued a Certificate of Works Approval, No. JS24PWA00203_01, on 18 December 2024, valid to 17 December 2029.

It covers steel wire rope for ships in two categories: single-layer rope from 10 mm to 80 mm, and rotation-resistant rope from 10 mm to 52 mm. Wire grades 1570 to 2160 N/mm², uncoated or zinc-coated (Grade 1, 2 or 3), fibre or steel core.

Two conditions come with it. The quality management system has to stay as approved, and CCS turns up unannounced once a year on the certificate anniversary.

CE verification under the Machinery Directive

Ente Certificazione Macchine, an Italian certification body, reviewed Tongjiang's technical documentation for steel wire rope from 6.0 mm to 80 mm, including compacted-strand construction, and confirmed it meets EN ISO 12100:2010 and EN 12385-1:2002+A1:2008 under EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. Certificate no. 3N260415.JTMUO98, issued 15 April 2026, valid to 14 April 2031.

Worth being precise about what that is. The verification covered the documentation. No product testing was carried out as part of it, and the certificate itself says it does not replace the manufacturer's EC Declaration of Conformity. If you need a Declaration of Conformity for a specific order, ask and we will issue one.

Tongjiang's Energy Management System is certified to ISO 50001:2018 (Certificate No. 21125En10013R0S). Audited energy performance data shows comprehensive energy consumption per unit of product falling from 56.11 kgce per ton in 2024 to 55.94 kgce per ton in the January to August 2025 audit period.

The CICC management-system certificates run on three-year cycles with periodic surveillance audits in between; the current cycle for ISO 9001 runs to January 16, 2028, and the current cycles for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 both run to September 29, 2028. The CCS works approval requires an unannounced audit every year and runs through December 17, 2029. The CE technical-file verification runs through April 14, 2031.
